My Dogs Day Care
Private boarding & daycare

Your dog's day,
spent well.

Daycare, overnight boarding and long stays on a quiet property east of Ottawa — not in a run of concrete kennels. Cut trails, open ground around the house, and room to move all day. For a day, a night, or the three weeks you're away.

The offering

Four ways to leave your dog here

Forty acres in Rockland, twenty minutes east of Orléans. Trail time every day, your dog’s own food and routine, and rates that don’t move for holidays or big dogs.

Daily

Daycare

A full day here rather than a day alone at home. Trail time, open ground, and a rest in the middle of it. Built for dogs left by themselves too long, and for working breeds who need the mileage.

Boarding

One night or several. Your dog's own food, fed on your schedule, and their own bed or crate if you bring it.

Vacation stays

A week or longer while you travel, at a lower nightly rate the longer the stay. Worth booking well ahead for March break, July and the holidays.

Trail hikes

Out on the trails as part of the day, not as an add-on or a package. It is the reason dogs go home tired.

Rates

Plainly stated, in Canadian dollars

No reservation fee, no surcharge for large dogs, and no holiday premium. Christmas week costs what an ordinary week costs. The rate you read here is the rate you pay.

Before arrival

One requirement, and nothing else

The one requirement

Required

Your dog must be on a tick and flea preventative. Dogs get out on trails and open ground here, and blacklegged ticks are established right across eastern Ontario. One untreated dog carries them back into the group, the house and every other dog's coat. Any vet-supplied product is fine — chewable, topical or collar — just have it current on the day you arrive.

Everything else

  • Every dog is welcome. Intact, senior, puppy, anxious, three-legged. No paperwork to qualify.
  • In season, out of sorts, in trouble at home. All fine. It's life, and dogs are dogs.
  • Tell me who your dog is. Not a screening — I simply plan the day better when I know about guarding, reactivity, or a habit of wandering off.

Please pack

  • Their own food, portioned per meal, plus two extra days' worth.
  • Medication in its original container, with the dosing written down.
  • A bed or blanket that smells like home. It matters considerably more than the toys.
  • A collar with tags, in case anything ever needs sorting out quickly.
  • Your veterinarian's details, and a second contact who can decide if I can't reach you.
